"Agnes Park, or Nancy, as she was often called, was born 31 Jul 1788. She was named after her grandmother McDowell....and was married to John White, 31 Oct 1809. Mr White was son of William White, of Canonsburg.... he studied law and was admitted to the bar in Steubenville, Ohio; .... and subsequently studied medicine with Dr Thompson, the founder of Thompsonville...."
