Cecil J. Mann, 72, of 238 North Columbus St., died Saturday in Galion Community Hospital following a two-month illness.
A native of morrow County, he was a lifelong resident of this vicinity. mr. Mann was a veteran of World War I, serving with the tank corps in the Army. He was a member of the Peace United Church of Christ, the Scarbrough American Legion Post, the Veterans of World War I, Inc. at Bucyrus, and the Galion Elks.
He was employed at the Galion Iron Works for 39 years and was a foreman in the service dept. before retiring five years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Ferne; two daughters, Mrs. Virgil Logan of Galion and Mrs. Willard Cochran of Columbus; a brother, Ivan Mann of Mt. Gilead; four grandchildren.
Services will be held in the Kubach Funeral Home Wednesday. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park.
