She was born on January 7, 1910 in Cotulla, Texas.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Paulita Adami, her husband of 46 years, Fred S. Martinez Sr., brother Daniel Adami, sisters; Lily Adami, Dora De Los Santos and daughter Leticia Minica.
Alice was the 11th of 12 brothers and sisters. She was sent to San Antonio, TX at the age of 11 to attend school and later graduated from Main Avenue High School. She went on to obtain an associate's degree at San Antonio College. Alice married Fred Martinez Sr. and together they had six children.
She is survived by five of her children and their spouses; Morelza L. Romo (Joe), Fred S. Martinez Jr. (Mary), Paulita Morales (Jake), Richard A. Martinez (Connie), Honorato Martinez (Connie) and a nephew, Robert De Los Santos, eighteen grandchildren, 24 great grand children and 6 great-great grand children. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives.
