Last Saturday evening Lewis D. Lillard Jr. was accidentally killed while hunting about a mile from town. He and his brother, who is about two years older, had
gone hunting.
Lewis, son of L.D. Lillard, was born Feb. 17, 1886, died April 2, 1898. His remains were interred in Fairfield Cemetery by his mother's side.
Rev. T.W. Staton officiated.
