Constance C. Hamilton, 82, passed away Feb.1, 2015 in N. Ridgeville.
Connie was born July 27, 1932 in Elyria to the late Robert D. Trescott and Alice Duckett Sampson.
She was a 1950 graduate of Elyria High School and upon her marriage traveled with her husband to various bases as he served his country in the Air Force. Connie was a homemaker and mother to the couple's six children. She volunteered at all their schools, worked with the adult literacy program, designed and created beautiful quilts and hooked rugs and helped her husband build the log home that had been a long time dream of theirs.
She is survived by her children, Becky J. (Carl) Baughman of Chesapeake, VA., Mark W. Hamilton of Miles City, MT., Kim L. (David Mullen) Onderko of Sheffield Village, OH., Joel T. (Florence) Hamilton of Jonesboro, ME., Jeffrey F. (Christina) Hamilton of Merritt Island, FL., Jennifer J. (Todd) Arnold of Plymouth, OH., 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, brothers James (Sherryn) Trescott and Thomas Trescott, brother-in-law Harry Harbst, 5 nieces and nephews and life long dear friend, Beatrice Yost.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Floyd, to whom she was married 60 years, Her sisters-in-law Diane Harbst and Diana Trescott, one grandchild and 2 great-grandchildren and one niece.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, Feb. 20, 2015 between 4-6 p.m. at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St.,Medina, OH.
