Daisy R. Clark, 96, of Pensacola, passed away February 7, 2015. She was born May 26, 1918 in San Jose, Costa Rica. She came to the U.S. in 1955 and married John Clark in 1961. She served as a hospital volunteer at Brunswich Memorial Hospital and gave blood to patients with type O blood. She was a member of a prayer group, a government workers’ union and attended Charity Chapel.
Daisy was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Clark and a sister, Carmen Arquedas.
She is survived by her daughter and only child, Jeannette Garland; son-in-law, Stephen Garland; grandsons, Bruce Davis, Paul Davis (Beth), Gary Davis (Pam) and Charles Garland (Tara); granddaughter, Stephanie Garland and great-grandchildren, Josiah Garland, Jeronimo Garland, Gideon Garland, Solomon Garland, Matthew Davis, Daniel Davis, Chase Davis and Amanda Davis.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Visitation will be Friday, February 13, 2015 from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South. Burial will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.
