William M. Richardson, eighty-two, of 145 S. Eighth St., Columbia, died Friday at 11 p.m. at his home.
He was a retired crossing watchman for the Pennsylvania Railroad at Columbia, and recently was employed as a janitor at Trinity Evangelical and Reformed Church, Columbia.
He was born at Georgetown, a son of the late James and Catharine Clark Richardson. He was a member of Salome Evangelical United Brethren Church, Columbia, the PRR Relief Association; and Janson's Rest.
Surviving are a son and daughter, William L. and Mrs. Mary Long, both at home; 10 grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Clara Snyder and Mrs. Edith Moore, both of Columbia.

RICHARDSON--Entered into rest in Columbia, Pa., September 5, 1952, William Martin Richardson, of 145 South 8th St., Columbia, Pa., in his 83rd year. The relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral without further notice from the Daniel W. Leber Funeral Home, 8th & Locust Sts., Columbia, on Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. The Reverend Doctor N. J. Behney and the Reverend George W. Moyer will officiate. Interment in Mt. Bethel Cemetery. Friends may call at the Leber Funeral Home on Monday night.
