Perry Holland Harris, age 68, of Ross, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015 at his residence.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 9, 2015 at Prairie Grove Cemetery near Aquilla, with Rev. Terry McElrath officiating. The family will receive visitors from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Perry was born June 9, 1946 in West, the son of Elmer L. and Beatrice (Holland) Harris. He attended schools in West and was a 1964 graduate of West High School. He served with the United States Air Force in Germany and was discharged at the rank of Staff Sergeant. Perry worked for Spartan Copper and Cercon Casting. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a weather enthusiast. He especially loved spending time with children and grandchildren.

Survivors include two daughters, Karen Harris of Ross and Tricia Grones and husband Ricky of Chalk Bluff; a son, David Harris and wife Stephanie of Midlothian; a sister, Dolores Scott; grandchildren, Kylie Rankin, Kason Grones and grandson Halston Perry Harris on the way; step grandchildren, Ricky Grones Jr., Christie Grones and Matthew Grones; a step great grandson, Caleb Grones; a nephew, Richard Scott; and many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
