Frances Marshall, 91, of Plainview, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, February 9, 2015 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. John Powell officiating. Burial will follow in the Plainview Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

Mrs. Marshall was born on June 20, 1923 in Rogers, Texas to Bessie and Homer Roscoe Grant. She graduated from Rogers High School. She married William Frasier Marshall on July 28, 1941 in Rogers, TX. She worked in the College Hill School Cafeteria for 20 years and was a member of the Food Service Clubs for Schools. She enjoyed making quilts, dolls, pillows and crocheting afghans but her greatest joy was her family. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church

She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Billy Ray Marshall; 2 brothers, Herbert Grant and Maynard Grant; 1 sister, Lela Mae Nixon; a grandson, Brandon Douglas Marshall and 2 great great grandchildren.

Survivors include two daughters, Gwen Bennett and husband Billy of Edmonson, TX and Debbie Ware and husband Michael of Spring, TX; one son, Robert Marshall and wife Sandra of Plainview, TX; two brothers Buster Grant and wife Elsa of Garland, TX and Carlton Grant of Pasadena, TX, eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials go to the Calvary Baptist Church, 1613 West 24th, Plainview, TX 79072
