Funeral services for George F. Schultz were held from the Immaculate Conception church in Osakis, May 2 with interment in Calvary cemetery. Father James A. Mohm officiated. Pallbearers were Wm. Weber, Irvin Schuldt, James Collins, Henry Fearing, Andrew Walters and Art Marquette.
Mr. Schultz died on April 29 at Our Lady of Mercy hospital, at the age of 65 years, 3 months and 21 days. Death was due to a heart condition.
George F. Schultz was born to Fred Schultz and Mary Buermiester in Belle Plaine, Minn., on Jan. 8, 1892. He was married to Annice Sursely Nov. 26, 1912, and lived in the Osakis community all their lives.
The deceased is survived by his wife and the following children: Ralph, Alice (Mrs. Robert Juberian), Vernice (Mrs. John A. Mechels) of Osakis, Ray of Grand Rapids, Lawrence of Long Prairie, Harold of Carlos, Frances (Mrs. Edward Spieker) of Pine Wood and 38 grandchildren. One sister, Ida (Mrs. Paul Basel), two brothers, Chris of Osakis and John Otto of Blakley; the following half-brothers and sister: Ed of Osakis, Walter of LaCross, Wis., and Clara of St. Paul.
