Suggested edit: In my research, I found that Anne Meriwether was born in 1694 and died in 1785. As a widow of Thomas Johnson, she married John Cosby in 1750. John was born in 1680 and died in 1761; his first wife was Martha Garland. So, properly, Anne would be Anne Meriwether Johnson Cosby. I also have information from several sources that provides info about Anne's father (with correction in dates; I can share that later). Thank you.
