Clarentine E. Tasset, 92, of Pratt, died Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Dove Estates in Goddard, KS. She was born on July 23, 1922 at St. Leo, KS, to Leo and Anna (Schnittker) Blasi. She married Claud ‘Tubby’ Tasset on October 22, 1946 at St. Leo, KS. He preceded her in death on January 5, 2007.
Clarentine was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Women of Sacred Heart, Daughters of Isabella, VFW Auxiliary, BPW (Woman of the year in 1995) and several Bridge Clubs all in Pratt. She had her own business as a cosmetologist.
She is survived by a son, Curtis (Laurie) Tasset of Wichita, KS, three daughters, Cathy (Mike) White of Rogers, AR, Cindy (Rex) Snavely of Salina, KS, Christy (Randy) Hillard of Wichita, KS, three brothers, Franklin, Paul, and Ron Blasi, five sisters, Patty Herron, Betty Lagaly, Doris Werback, June Staab, Joan Kelley, eight grandchildren, 3 great grandsons, one great granddaughter and a great grandchild on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Tubby, six brothers, Richard, Floyd, Alvin, Vernon, Daniel, Jimmy Blasi, two sisters, Thelma Schulte and Diann Dye.
Visitation will be on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt, KS 67124. Vigil service will be at 7:00 p.m., Monday, February 9th, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pratt, KS. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 10th, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pratt, with Father Floyd McKinney and Father Michael Liebl presiding. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt, KS.
Memorials may be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in care of the mortuary.
