Gladys was born on March 24, 1923 in South Dakota to Charles and Abbie (Fletcher) Talbott.
At the age of 17, she married the love of her life, Wesley Sullivan, on April 13, 1940 at Dakota County, Nebraska. To this union, four children were born, Philip, Janet, David, and Danny. They raised their family in Elk Point. Wesley was preceded her in death on June 8, 1994.
She was a life-long resident of Elk Point. She enjoyed gardening, reading, watching westerns and a cup of hot tea.
She is survived by her four children, Philip (Connie) Sullivan, Janet Jager both of Hawarden, Iowa, David (Ruth) Sullivan of Yankton, South Dakota, and Danny Sullivan of Elk Point, South Dakota; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wesley, her four brothers and four sisters, two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one son-in-law.
