Born September 19, 1925 in Pgh, PA, John R. Roth, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2006 of Moon Twp. He was preceded in death by parents, Harry and Lena (Leuch) Roth; survived by his wife, Claudia; best friend, Deborah Yakelis; nephew, Kevin Yakelis; nieces, Kelly Yakelis, Chelsea, Sarah and Monica Brunner; cousin, Laura (Edwin) Myers.
Mr. Roth served as a Tech Sgt. with the U.S. Air Force from 1946-1970, a Veteran of WWII, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. After his military career, he worked for the VA Medical Center, Oakland from 1971-1990, afterwards serving as a volunteer there. He was a member of St. Margaret Mary's Church, Moon Twp. and the VFW Vesle Post 418, McKees Rocks.
