A celebration of life will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, 2015, at the Hillsboro Elks Lodge for Minnie Berger Lewis who died Feb. 3, 2015, at age 97. Born Dec. 29, 1917, Minnie Berger Lewis, of Beaverton, passed away peacefully while playing pinochle with her lady friends. Minnie loved life and left many happy memories for her surviving children, Leroy Berger, Edward Berger and Trudi Turnbow. She was predeceased by her daughter, Nancy Clausen; and son, Dennis Berger. She was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Her husbands, Edward Berger and George Lewis, also predeceased her. She will be greatly missed. Interment will be in Cooper Mountain Pioneer Cemetery. Arrangements are by Springer and Sons.
