Went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, February 6, 2015 with his loving family at his side. He was born February 15, 1959 in Oneonta, Alabama, the son of Blaine and JoAnn (Hodges) Rhodes. Jeffrey was a active member of Victorious Life Church of God. He retired from General Motors, Willow Run Plant after many years of service. He will always be remembered for his love of family, hunting, softball and especially golfing. Survivors besides his mother and father include his children; Shane Rhodes, Adam Rhodes and Kyleigh Rhodes, 2 grandchildren; Jaiden and Nevaeh Rhodes, sisters; Becky (Junior) Sizemore, Lisa (Amos) Snyder and his brother Mike (Karrie) Rhodes and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 9, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Victorious Life Church of God with Rev. G.J. (Chick) Chandler, Rev. Ed Chandler and Rev. Garry Barton co-officiating. Burial will follow in Union-Udell Cemetery, Ypsilanti Township. Contributions in Jeffrey's memory may be made to Compassionate Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the JANOWIAK FUNERAL HOME, Ypsilanti Chapel where the family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 p.m. till 8 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 10:00 a.m. till time of service at 11:00 a.m.
