Dorsey Ricks, age 70 of Stockbridge, died Thursday, February 05, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Saleta Ricks. He is survived by his spouse, Helen Ricks of Stockbridge; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly (James) Dean; grandchildren, Trey (Jessica) Cain and Destiny (Josh) Brand; great grandchild, Amelia Brand; two brothers and sister-in-laws, Coleman (Pat) Ricks, Larry (Shelia) Ricks; one sister and brother-in-law, Elaine (Joe) Farmer; and nieces and nephews. Dorsey was a man who loved his family. He worked for the State of GA DOT and was a member of North Henry Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at Scot Ward's Green Meadow Chapel on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at 3:00pm; interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
