Leo G. Elliott Jr., age 63, of Barron, WI died Friday, February 6, 2015 at his home.

He was born July 15, 1951 in Rice Lake, WI to Leo and Genevieve (Coleman) Elliott. He graduated from Rice Lake High School in 1969 and later entered the United States Army and served in Vietnam and was honorably discharged in 1973. Leo was married to Marcia Biron on September 29, 1990 in Rice Lake. Leo was a tool and die maker for Wright Products, Hickory Hardware and Henry WI, LLC. He retired in 2011. Leo enjoyed hunting, fishing, auto mechanics, racing, watching the Green Bay Packers, camping and going to the cabin. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Leo Elliott is survived by his wife, Marcia Elliott of Barron, WI; a son and daughter-in-law, Antony & Gretchen Elliott of White Bear Lake, MN; 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Nikki & Brett Schaffer of Northfield, MN, Amanda & Joel Osmer of Barron, WI and Melinda & David Kelley of Chetek, WI; 5 grandchildren, Jace, Collin, Ava, Sophie and Nora; a brother and sister-in-law, Ron & Karen Elliott of Rice Lake, WI; 3 sisters and brothers-in-law, Laura & Carl VanGilder of Rice Lake, WI, Vicky & Donald LaPoint of Birchwood, WI and Naydean & Wayne Drost of Rice Lake, WI; brothers-in-law, Joseph (Michele) Biron of Elk Mound, WI, Richard Biron of Comstock, WI, Michael (Christina) Biron of Barron, WI and Gerry Biron of Atlanta, GA; sister-in-law, Nancy (Stanley) Koenig of Rice Lake, WI; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Genevieve Elliott; and a brother, Everett Elliott.

Graveside Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Spooner, WI where Military Rites will be accorded by the Rice Lake Veterans Center Honor Guard. Visitation will be held from 4 - 8 PM Monday at Appleyard's Home for Funerals in Rice Lake.
