Deborah Sue “Debbie” Hamm, 56 of Perry, died Thursday, February 5, 2015 at her home in rural Perry. She was born April 18, 1956 at Lawrence, the daughter of Dale Eugene and Marjorie Faye Bowen Unfred. She was a 1974 graduate of Perry-Lecompton High School and she attended the Kansas City College of Medical and Dental in Kansas City. Debbie worked as a phlebotomist at the Kidney Dialysis Center of Kansas City and at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka. She had also taught training at the Topeka Technical college. She has been medically disabled over 10 years. She was a member of Crossroads Cowboy Church in Williamstown and was a hard working mother for her family. She was married to Craig Mcpherson and they were later divorced. She was married to Richard Hamm and they later divorced. She is survived by her mother and step-father, Marjorie and Clifford Lafrentz, her four sons, Laramie (Christine) McPherson, Rick (Heather) Hamm, Chris (Emily) Hamm, and Ryan Hamm, two brothers, Gary Dale Unfred, Dempsy Kellner, three sisters, Diana Enneking, Ashley Reed, and Kristan Kellner, 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Dale E. Unfred, one son, Benjamin Hamm, and a grandson, Christopher Craig McPherson. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday at the Crossroads Cowboy Church in Williamstown. Burial will be at the Underwood Cemetery, Williamstown.
