Thelma Massie of Owensboro, KY died peacefully at the age of 104 on Thursday, February 5, 2015, at Hermitage Care & Rehabilitation in Owensboro. She was born on June 17, 1910 in Owensboro to the late Georgia and George Paul Mattingly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis H. Massie; a grandson, Joshua Stout; her sister and three brothers.
She is survived by her son, Jim Stout, Jr. of Owensboro; three grandchildren, Grace Campbell of Troy, MI, James Stout, III of Macon, GA and George Stout of Gainesville, GA; seven great grandchildren and eighteen great-great grandchildren.
Services are 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 9, 2015, at the Chapel of James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro. Burial is in Rosehill Cemetery in Owensboro.
