My Uncle Sam Burchfield was raised in the hills of the Smokey Mountains in Bryson City, NC. His parents, Caro Cleveland Burchfield and Catherine Talitha DeHart raised him and his siblings on Jenkins Branch.

There are all gone now, but they will never be forgotten - Glen, Carl, Sam, Milburn, Horace, Telitha, Frank, Marvin, Wade, Wiley, and Carroll. What a great family!
