Edith Annemarie Gibson, daughter of the late Anton and Maria (Salenga) Kuhn, was born on November 21st, 1925 in Duisburg-Hamborn, Germany, and departed this life on January 31st, 2015 in Mesquite, Texas, following a long illness. She was 89 years old.
Edith was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great -great grandmother, and friend.
As long as her health permitted, she enjoyed traveling the world, volunteering for the Salvation Army, and knitting and donating caps and blankets for hospital newborns.
She is survived by a daughter, Viola Easley and her husband, Randy; and three sons, David Gibson, and his wife, Cheri; Mackie Gibson, and Michael Gibson. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren
