He was born on November 7, 1920, in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, to the late George F. and Delta Morelock.
He was a member of the John Harris High School Class of 1938. In 1941 he enlisted in the US Army Air Corps and served as a pilot for 3 1/2 years until the end of WW 2. In 1949, he graduated from the Temple University School of Pharmacy. He started his career with Rea and Derick Drug stores in Harrisburg. During the next 45 years, he advanced from Store Manager to President in 1974 and Chairman of the Board in 1992. Under his leadership, the Rea and Derick drug store chain expanded by 50 additional stores. He was a member of various Masonic Bodies in Harrisburg for over 50 years and Sharon Lutheran Church in Selinsgrove.
He was preceded in death by his wife Pauline, and sister H. Naomi Morelock in 2006.
Paul is survived by his daughter Joan L. Wels and husband Horst, his beloved granddaughter Keena L. Snyder, who was his pride and joy, and great grandsons Ian R. and Ryan P. Snyder, all of Mechanicsburg, and his brother G. Edward Morelock of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania.
Paul's positive outlook on life and his compassion inspired many of those whose lives he touched. He will be greatly missed.
Services and burial in the Dillsburg Cemetery-Mt. Road will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing or visitation.
