Kenneth Earl Livingston, 88 years and 1 month, son of Loren and Geneva (Pierce) Livingston, was born on March 5, 1925 on the family farm three miles south of Farragut, Iowa. He answered God's call on April 4, 2013 at the Shenandoah Medical Center following a brief illness.
Growing up in rural Farragut, Kenneth received his education from Centennial Country School and Farragut High School. On October 17, 1945 he was united in marriage to Rubye E. Johnson in Sidney, Iowa, while he was home on leave from the Army.
Following his discharge from the service, the couple made their home on the family farm south of Farragut. In 1975 they moved to their newly built home in Farragut. Kenneth farmed the family farm and also began working at Eaton Corporation in 1972, retiring in 1988. After retiring Kenneth enjoyed working in the garden, taking pride in his well manicured yard and flower gardens and feeding the birds.
