Christopher G. Rose, 35, of Vandalia, Ohio, passed away on February 2, 2015. He was born on June 22, 1979 to Lowell and Debra (Melnechuk) Rose in Kettering, OH.

Chris was a 1997 graduate of Spring Valley Academy in Centerville, Ohio. He loved to play golf and enjoyed making people laugh.

Chris is survived by his loving parents; sister, Andrea (Karan) Singh; nephew, Maximus; Chris’ newly expected daughter, Kozy; aunts and uncles, Loretta Rose, Lori (Curtis) Partee, Lois (Tony) Grimes, Marilyn Rose, Carl Rose; cousins, Danielle, Austin, Blake, Jessica, Stephanie, Claire, Christopher, Carl; grandmother, Esther Melnechuk.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Carl and Leitha Rose; maternal grandfather, Bill Melnechuk.

Visitation with friends and family will be held from 1-2 pm Monday, February 9, 2015, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, Ohio 45424 where funeral services will begin at 2 pm Monday.

Private burial services will take place at the Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery at a later time.
