Bill Louis Allen, 91, died peacefully in his home in Athens, GA on February 4, 2015. Bill proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. He was an executive with Montgomery Ward in New York City and retired to Athens with his wife, Doris in 1986, where he was a substitute teacher for twenty-one years.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Doris in 2012. Survivors include four daughters, Rebecca, Suzanne, Denise & Gretchen; five grandchildren, Adam, Alexis, Kyle, Jaime & Abby; two great grandchildren, Alex & Adalee; brother, Ben Allen of Kerrville, TX.
Graveside services were Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Athens Memory Gardens.
