Joseph Honney, 82 years old, veteran of the Civil War, died yesterday at his home, Sixth and Tatnall streets. Mr. Honney, who would have been 83 on Christmas Day, was attacked with acute indigestion early yesterday morning dying about 8 o'clock.
He was a former employee at the Harlan plant, this city, retiring several years ago. He is survived by his wife, three sons, a daughter, Mrs. Gerald Farrell, of 827 Poplar street, and a granddaughter, Mildred Farrell.
A son, Thomas, who was a Spanish war veteran, died on October 28, aged 52. Mr. Honney was a member of Smyth Post No. 1, G. A. R. The funeral will take place from the residence of his daughter at 2 o'clock on Saturday afternoon with interment in Riverview cemetery.
