Katherine H. Callahan, 88, of Texarkana, Ark., died Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, at her home.
Ms. Callahan was born March 4, 1926, in Texarkana, Texas. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include five sons and two daughters-in-law, Herbert Callahan, Edward Callahan, Michael Callahan and Joseph and Alberta Callahan of Texarkana and Curtis and Mary Callahan of Dallas; one daughter and son-in-law, Jacqueline and Alcus Whitaker of Texarkana; one special niece, Velma Jean Brown of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Haynes Mortuary with the Rev. Joe Rochelle officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home..
