Mrs. Hilda Harwell Albright, age 89 of Mandeville Lane, Carrollton died Friday, January 20, 2012.
Mrs. Albright was born in Carrollton, Georgia on July 29, 1922, the daughter of the late Charlie Brown Harwell and Maudie Bell Hughes Harwell.
She was a retired office manager having worked at Gas Incorporated and Alpine Gas. She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church and the Amazing Grace Sunday School Class.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Wilburn and Sue Albright of Bowdon, Kay and Michael Striplin of Bowdon, Pat and Debbie Albright of Carrollton; grandchildren and their spouses, Lisa and Lee Wilkes, Chad and Betsy Albright, Zack and Jacki Albright, Justin Striplin, Jeremy Striplin, Lee Albright, Sam Albright, Carlyn Albright; five great grandchildren; brothers, Bledsoe Harwell of Carrollton and Robert Harwell of Marietta. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn Carl Albright; sister, Charlsie Jones and brother, Wilton “Bud” Harwell.
The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Saturday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.
Funeral service will be Sunday, January 22 at 2 o’clock at the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Rev. Jay Sutton, Mr. Randy Miller and Rev. Myles Brown officiating. Music will be provided by Terri Lee, Ashley Duncan and Jeff Merrell.
Mrs. Albright’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Interment will be in Carroll Memory Gardens.
