Addie was born 2/19/1900 in Moberly, Missouri to Stapleton and Emma Baker Crutchfield.

She married Thomas Lee Beaver who was from Sturgeon, Missouri on January 17, 1917 in Moberly, Missouri. Four sons were born in Moberly. They were:
James Thomas Beaver b 12/7/1918, Albert Lewis b 10/16/1919, Leroy Beaver b 11/7/1921 and Frank Harold b 09/17/1923. About 1925 they moved to Kansas City, Missouri where they then had Mary Ellen b 6/10/1928 and Jackie Lee b March 5, 1940.

Addie was a homemaker and wonderful cook. She had wonderful twinkling gray/green eyes. She loved the cowboy stars like Gene Autry, Roy Rogers & Dale Evans and had pictures of them in her home.

She liked glitzy colors such as red/gold/purples and had her clothing made in fabrics with those colors and the style of dress was a dropped waist with pleats and usually a sailor collar which was popular in those days.

She LOVED children and was very good with them. I never saw a child that she couldn't rock to sleep.

Early in 1973 she and her husband both suffered a stoke. She was paralyzed on her left side which required that she go to a nursing home. She passed on to be with the Lord July 9, 1975. Her sweet, kind, spirit is missed by her family.
