Earl Gene Walton, 74 a resident of Summers, passed away February 4, 2015 at Willard Walker Hospice in Fayetteville.
He was born August 19, 1940 in Morrow, the son of Virgil and Lina Catherine Finical Walton.

Earl served in the United States Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters Louetta Reed, Fern Slape, Marie Claypool and Linda Phillips and one brother Leon Walton.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years Mary Walton; three children Gene Walton and wife Toni of Lincoln, Kim Pettigrew and husband Robert of Summers, and Brian Walton and wife Debbie of Lincoln; one brother Glenn Walton and wife Louise of Bolivar, Missouri; one sister Anita Jamerson and husband Bobby of Farmington; eight grandchildren Christopher Walton and wife Lacrisha, Ashley McAllister and husband Conner, Lance Pettigrew, Darren Pettigrew, Josie Walton and Sean Walton; four great grandchildren Jaxson Walton, Alexandria McAllister, Reagan Walton, Izbella Pettigrew and Baby Zachary expected any time; a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 7, 2015 - 2:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Chapel. Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery in Cincinnati, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be: Christopher Walton, Sean Walton, Darrin Pettigrew, Lance Pettigrew, Robert Pettigrew, and David Woodbury.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Roger Reed, Danny Hoff, Elroy Stubinger, and Harold Dean Risley. The family will have a meal at the Washington County Baptist Church on East Holt Rd in Lincoln, Arkansas following the graveside service.
