Rachel Elizabeth White was born February 28, 2005. As a 25 week micro preemie, she weighed one pound seven ounces and struggled for life. She lived with an unconquerable spirit. We spent years teaching her to crawl and walk by doing it with her for many hours day after day.

Make-A-Wish, Give Kids The World and HopeKids are very precious to our family as they helped us provide Rachel with some exciting and fun adventures. Make-A-Wish granted Rachel and our family a trip to Disneyworld and a stay at Give Kids The World. This wish forever changed our lives. They showered us with love. Rachel loved Florida. This experience taught us we could still have adventures. Later, we took Rachel to Disneyland, San Diego Zoo, Knott’s Berry Farm, and Lagoon. Her favorite rides were the Log Shoot, Matterhorn, Dinosaur Drop, Bora Bora, and Jumping Dragon.

Rachel had a beautiful spirit and everyone seemed drawn to her. She had a quick smile and infectious giggle. She loved music, playing on her swing, crawling, and interacting with others. She would not be left out during living room wrestling matches.

She will be remembered by numerous friends, teachers, nurses, doctors, teacher aids, and therapists.

She will be missed greatly by all. She is survived by her father, and mother, Doug and Liz, and siblings Emily, Benjamin, Daniel, Sarah, and Seth.

We are sad God has taken her from us……..who could blame Him…..we want to hold her in our arms too.
