Leonard D. Norfleet, 92, Normal, passed away at 3:37 p.m. Tuesday (April 25, 2006) at his! home.

He was born Dec. 5, 1913, in Faubush, KY, the son of John Wyatt and Ollie Holcomb Norfleet.

He married Sarah E. Watt on Nov. 25, 1935, in Shirley.

He was preceded in death by. his wife; his son, Ronald; and his daughter, Gloria; one brother; two stepbrothers; one sister; and five stepsisters.

He is survived by one sister,. Bea Ransdell, Panama City, FL; two grandchildren, Lori (Pete) Mitchell, Park Forest, and Kristi (Jerow) Scheel, Bloomington; two great grandchildren, Teagan Michelle Thompson and Shelby Lynne Mitchell of Park Forest; and a special nephew, Dan (Maxine) Woodard, Normal.

Leonard is also survived by many other nephews, nieces, cousins and extended family.

Mr. Norfleet retired as manager of Producer's Stockyard in-1974 after 32 years. After his retirement, he also worked for Carol Willis, and the Ted Funk family.

Leonard was affiliated with the United Methodist Church of Covell.

He was dearly loved and will be missed by his family and-his many wonderful friends and-neighbors.
