Mr. Paul Molyneaux Hewlett, the distinguished tradegian, is dead. Mr. Hewlett has been a success in the histrionic art and everywhere he has appeared he won the applause of his auditors. He was one of the most polished and successful actors on the American stage and his death will be keenly felt by all who knew him.

Mr Paul Molyneaux Hewlett, son of the late Prof. A. M. Hewlett, of Harvard College, Cambridge, and brother of Lawyer E. M. Hewlett, died on Wednesday, June 25th. Mr Hewlett was a tragedian by profession and played with great success in the principle theatres of Boston and Europe. The remains will be put in a vault for a few weeks, when Mr. Hewlett and sister will take them to Cambridge for burial.

Lawyer E. M. Hewlett left the city Saturday evening for Cambridge, Mass., with the remains of his brother, Paul Mollyneaux Hewlett, who died suddenly in this city Thursday. Mr. Hewlett had been living abroad for many years. By profession he was an actor, having appeared in the theaters of Boston and many of the most prominent in England, but owing to ill health he was forced to abandon the stage and seek health by visiting this country. His father was professor of physical training at Harvard College for over twenty years. Mr. Howlett leaves a widow and child. Mrs. Hewlett is a highly intelligent and refined English woman, who has made many friends since she has been in this country.
