Salina - Allred Funeral Held - Funeral services for Claud C. Allred, farmer and cattleman, who died at the Allred home Wednesday from flu pneumonia, were held Saturday in the Salina Second ward chapel. Burial was in the Pioneer cemetery at Salina.
Mr. Allred was born at Spring City December 28, 1876, a son of Steven H. and Hettie Frost Allred. He came to Salina canyon with his parents about 56 years ago. Mr. Allred had been a farmer and cattleman in this vicinity a number of years. He married Minnie Steele on April 4 1898 at Richfield.
He is survived by his widow, three daughters, Mrs. Floyd Beck, Mrs. James Jensen and Mrs. Clifton Tallstrup of San Diego, California; four sons, Lyle Allred of Los Angeles, Milton Allred of San Francisco, Grant Allred of Salt Lake City, Reed and Keith Allred of Salina; and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. James Crane, Leroy and Fred Allred of Salina. Mrs. Florence Pace of Delta, Miss Clay Allred and Mrs. Roy Burch of Salt Lake, Horace Allred of Roosevelt, Percy Allred of Twin Falls, Idaho, Frank Allred of Canada, Oscar Allred of San Diego, California, Mrs. Bell Sorensen, Mrs. Ida Burns and Hugh Allred of Salina.
