Mr. Franklin served in the U.S. Air Force for 21 years. He served as Senior Master Sergeant and was stationed in locations throughout the United States as well as Thailand, Italy, and Korea. After retiring from the service, he relocated with his family to the Shiloh Community. He loved to travel with his wife and spend time with his grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Anna Lois Morris Franklin and son Danny Franklin. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, James “Baldy” Franklin, Clarence “Button” Franklin, Julius Franklin, Carl “Crickett” Franklin, Robert Franklin and an infant sister.
Survivors include two sons; eight grandchildren.
A service celebrating Doyle’s life will be Friday, February 6th at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in the Southfork Cemetery.
