#SYLVESTER - Mr. Kenneth Moree Giddens, 80, of Sylvester died Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at his residence.

#The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Hillcrest Cemetery. The Rev. Ed Waller will officiate.

#Mr. Giddens was born in Worth County on July 2, 1934 to the late Kenneth Reed and Amie Will Moree Giddens. He had lived in Worth County all his life. Mr. Giddens farmed and was a carpenter well known for his design and building of play houses. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and was an avid reader. Mr. Giddens was a member of New Bethel Freewill Baptist Church.

#Survivors include his sons, Kenny Giddens, Allen Giddens (Tabitha), Mike Giddens (Cindy), Eddie Giddens all of Sylvester; sixteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; brother, Donald Giddens of Sylvester.

#In addition to his parents Mr. Giddens was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Gay Giddens on November 12, 1999, a brother, Ronald Giddens and a grandson, Adam Giddens.

#The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 5, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Banks Funeral Home.
