Professional Hockey Player. He was the younger brother of legendary hockey player Gordie Howe. He began his hockey career with the Windsor Hettche Spitfires in 1948 and was promoted to the National Hockey League during the 1950-1951 season, with the New York Rangers' team that reached the Stanley Cup Finals. During the 1954-1955 season, while playing at the right-wing position with New York, Howe scored 2 goals, with 4 assists, in 29 games-played. After retiring from hockey, he became a constable with the Canadian National Railway Police. He died of complications from dementia and heart related issues.
