Stephen E. Carr age 63 of DuBois died January 29, 2015 at the H.J. Heinz Veterans Home in Aspinwall, Pa.

Born August 7, 1951 in DuBois, Pa; he was the son of the late Benjamin F. and Bonita J. Hamner Carr.

Retired, Steve had been employed at True Value in Brockway, and later at Lowe’s in DuBois.

Steve was protestant by faith, and served in the U.S. Army as a peacetime soldier.

He enjoyed camping and spending time in the outdoors.

He is survived by 3 daughters: Tracy (Dustin) Hidinger of Brookville, Pa; Carrie (Barry) Schultiles of Blythewood, South Carolina; Jennifer (Chad) Darrell of Columbus, Mississippi; 2 brothers: Frank (Ruth Ellen) Carr of St. Louis, Missouri; David Carr of Charleston, Missouri, 1 sister: Leoda (Ted) Nalepa of Stoneboro, Pa; and 5 grandchildren.

All Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Temple Cemetery at Hazen.
