Loretta L. Little, age 79, passed away on January 25, 2013 at her home in Tipton. She was born in Tipton County on December 13, 1933 to William and Margaret (Porter) Miller. On February 8, 1945 Loretta married Hugh A. Little. She was a 1951 graduate of Tipton High School, a member of Oasis Community Church and Ladies Elks both of Tipton. Over the years Loretta had been employed at Zehner’s Shoes, Blue Front Drug Store, Lincoln School and the Elk’s Lodge. Loretta enjoyed reading, bowling, crafting, and camping but loved tending to her flower gardens around her home. She is survived by her husband Hugh A. Little of Tipton, her two children; Greg A. Little and wife Sarah Schuster of Oberlin, Ohio and Terri Little of Knox, IN. Also surviving are two grandchildren; Naviya & Roja Schuster Little, a sister Sue and husband Denny Butler of Tipton, a dear friend Judy Burton of Tipton and her beloved dog Daisy. Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Bill Miller and twin sisters, Twanette & Annette Miller. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday January 30, 2013 at the Oasis Community Church located at 600 Fairgrounds Road in Tipton. Visitation will be held at the church from 12 to 2 PM on Wednesday the day of services. Pastor Kim Drake will be officiating. Interment will take place in Tipton’s Fairview Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Oasis Community Church in Tipton.
