Preceded in death by son, Thomas.

Survived by wife of 63 years, Joanne; children, Mary, James, Jr. (Mary), Michael (Penny) and Gennie Jewett (Jim Geurs); sister, Carol Sigford; brother, Paul (Darlene); grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Thursday, August 14 at The Church of St Mary, 261 East 8th Street, St Paul. Visitation at the Church from 9-10 AM Thursday.

Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery
