The Marshall News Messenger , March 28 1973: Funeral services fro Mrs Mae Belle Joiner Kinard of Shreveport were held at Stewart Baptist Church here. Burial was in the Stewart Cemetery in Tatum. Mrs Kinard, a native of Tatum, was born Dec. 19, 1901 in Tatum and was educated in the Tatum Public Schools. She was daughter of the late Charlie and Nettie Graham Williamson and worked as a nurse for most of her life. She was a member of the Ingleside Baptist Church in Shreveport. Survivors include three sons, John W. Joiner and Jerry Charles Joiner, both of Shreveport and Clifton C Joiner of Phoenix, Ariz; four daughters, Mrs D. O (Lauris) Simmons of Montgomery AL, Mrs Dorthy Davies of Richardson, Mrs Richard (Eleanor) Howard of Shreveport and Mrs Bill (Evia) Tyler of Carrolton; two brothers, Watt Williamson and Adolph Williamson, both of Tatum; four sisters, Mrs Chess (Nancy Laura) Wilson and Mrs. Maggie Crain, both of Longview, Mrs. W. H. (Ruthie) Meeks of Marshall and Mrs. Lonnie (Fannie Warren) of Troup; 18 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
