Mary Etta Francis Roberts Garvin of 262 Euclid Avenue, Peru died at the age of 68 from cervical cancer at her home on December 26, 1959.

She was the daughter of James Roberts and Mollie Whitehead Roberts

She was a retired homemaker.

Burial occurred on December 28, 1959 at Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru, Miami County, Indiana. Drake Flowers Funeral home was in charge of the burial arrangements.

Funeral services for James Grant Roberts, 80, were held Wednesday afternoon at the Boma Baptist church with Edward Anderson officiating. Burial was in the Carr cemetery.

A retired farmer, Mr Roberts died Monday night at the City hospital after a short illness.

Mr Roberts was the son of the late Marion and Sarah Richardson Roberts. He was a native of Putnam County. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include two sons, O D and John Roberts, Sliver Point; three daughters, Mrs Etta Spiker, Sparta, Mrs Velma Phillips; two sisters, Mrs Ellen Reeder and Mrs Eletha Neighbors, Baxter.
