Service during King Philip's War (1675-1678):
"Capt. Aaron Cooke, of Hadley, [Mass.] was left in command of some of the men taken out of Mosely's, Poole's and Upham's companies, at Westfield, November, 1675. ….A man of influence; Capt. of the militia for thirty-five years. …."
