Mary Chloe Thomas, 80, of Akron Ohio, died march 20 at her residence.

Mrs. Thomas was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and a native of Lebanon. She had been a resident of Akron since 1926. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Thomas; one son Harold Thomas; her parents Joseph and Lena Spalding Abell.

Survivors include: two sons, Joseph D. and William Thomas of Akron; two daughters Mrs. Anthony "Dorothy" Mehal of Stow, Ohio, Mrs. John "Evelyn" Evans Jr. of Jacsonville, Fla.; one brother Walter Abell of Lebanon, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Private Mass of Christian Burial was conducted at 10 a.m. March 23 at St. Paul Catholic Church with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. Rev. Steve Halliko officiated.
