Daughter of Samuel Thomas Gann & Mary Elizabeth Richardson. Wife of Martin Luther Case (ma. Mar 27, 1873).

Mrs. Martha Mariam Case, 85, died at her home near Mayodan, N.C., last Wednesday [March 11, 1936] morning after an illness of several weeks.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday at her home. Interment was in the family plot in the Gann cemetery. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Susie Lawson, Madison, N.C.; Mrs. Emmie Gann, Mayodan, N.C.; Mrs. Addie Johnson, Reidsville, N.C.; Mrs. Lillie Alley, Mayodan; Thomas A. Case, Bassett; Martin M. Case, Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; Nathaniel L. Case, Madison, N.C.; Fletcher C. Case, Madison, N.C.; William B. Case, Mayodan, N.C.; Samuel J. Case, Madison. Those from Bassett attending the funeral Thursday were Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Case and family, Mr. and Mrs. Grayson Case and Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Poore.
