Ronald Lee Lowery, Sr. age 72 of Forest, passed away at 10:06 p.m. on Friday, January 30, 2015 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. He was born on September 14, 1942 in Hardin County to the late Howard "Bucky" and Edna (Hites) Lowery. On December 31, 1964, he married Sharon Scott and she survives along with two children, Cindy (Richard) Cain and Ron (Cathy) Lowery, Jr both of Kenton. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Samantha Cain and Hayden and Cami Jo Lowery, six sisters; Janet (Mike) McGue of Mt. Victory, Sharon Price of Columbus, Linda (Jim) Ridinger of Florida, Barb (Ken) Gossard of Findlay, Elenor (Jim) Perrine of Lima and Nadine Schuller of Florida. Ron was preceded in death by a sister Donna Fay. Ron managed the Bonded Oil Station in Kenton. He then owned and operated Lowery's Towing and Auto Repair for more than 40 years. Ron loved working in his yard, camping and fishing, but most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME with Pastor James Goldsmith officiating. The family will receive friends for two hours (12:00 - 2:00 p.m.) prior to the service. Burial will follow in McDonald-Fairview Cemetery.
