Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, February 3, 2015, at the First Assembly of God in Rush Springs, with Rev. Ron Bates officiating. Burial will be in the Rush Springs Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs.
L.G. was born Sunday, September 14, 1930 in Rush Springs, to Dewey and Bessie (Southerland) Bratcher. L.G. lived in Rush Springs most of his life and attended the Four Mile School. On October 14, 1950, he married Joyce Woods in Henrietta, Texas. L.G. worked as a heavy equipment operator for Grady County, retiring in 1990 after 22 years of service. L.G. loved to travel and camp all over the country in his motor home with his wife and group of friends. They visited all fifty states and five Canadian Provinces; his favorite place was Big Bend and they spent three winters in the Valley. L.G. enjoyed playing games; including dominoes and Skip-Bo. He was proud of his watermelon crop every year. L.G. was a member of the First Assembly of God in Rush Springs.

wife, Joyce "Cricket" Bratcher of the home,
two sons, Greg Bratcher and wife Pam, Rusty Bratcher and wife Cheryl, all of Rush Springs,
grandchildren, Bridgett Simon and husband Rick of Moore, Stacy Ryan, Chris Bratcher of Rush Springs, Candance Lupin and husband John of Oklahoma City, Greg McClure and wife Jennifer of Rush Springs, Misty Bratcher and Somer Bratcher,
great grandchildren, Austin, Denton, Kenzie, Kayla, Kohlten, Mason, Timothy, Gabe, Cora,
brother, Gene Bratcher and wife Pearl of Rush Springs,
sisters, Javan and husband Clyde, Juline and husband Wayne, both of Duncan,
brother-in-law, Mark Dalrymple of Rush Springs.
L.G. was preceded in death by his parents and sister, May Ellen "Pug" Dalrymple.
