He was the son of the late Robert Clarence Jordan and Emma Lee Brock Jordan. Mr Jordon was also preceded in death by his wife Mildred “Mickie” Collins Jordan and one sister Melva Jordan Harrigan.
He retired after 35 years as a supervisor from Southern Bell Telephone Company.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and formerly served on the Board of Deacons.
A funeral service was held on 11 AM Friday, September 12, 2014 at Calvary Baptist Church.
Burial followed at Rowan Memorial Park.
