Dan Gilbert Russell, 63, of Ferndale, died unexpectedly at his home on Sept 8, 2007. He was born Aug 22, 1944 in San Diego, CA to Gil land Eunice Russell. Danny graduated from Arlington H.S. in 1962, served in the US Army Intelligence and was a graduate of Western Washington University.
He was the CFO/CPA for Aluminum Chamber Boats in Bellingham. He had previously worked for CC Beverage Co and he helped develop the property at I-5 and Cook Rd in Burlington with the Duffy family. He was a muscle car buff, owning 3 cars, and was a member of Whatcom Co. Cruisers Assoc. He traveled to many of the car shows with his wife Sandee.
Dan had a great personality and could tell the best jokes which would keep everyone laughing. He was a wonderful husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend and will be greatly missed!
Dan's family includes his wife Sandee; his dad Gilbert Russell, Marysville; sister Judy (Skip) Bradley, Marysville; mother-in-law Louise Robichaud, Bellingham; niece Susan (Chad and Jessica) Martin, Marysville; and nephew Russ Diedrich, Arlington.
He was preceded in death by his mother Eunice Russell; father-in-law Roland Robichaud; and nephew Jeff Diedrich.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dan's name to Support Office Crisis Care, Lynden, WA. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Bayview Chapel, Bellingham, on Friday Sept 14 at 2 pm. We will miss the "HEMI GUY!"
